I’m a senior graphic designer with more than 20 years of experience keeping complex work consistent, whether the complexity comes from the sheer size of a project or from the number of pieces. Since 2015 I’ve designed for AdventHealth, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems, including a branded publication template localized for 48 hospitals, the CEO’s strategic plan, and campaigns carried across print and digital, from pop-up banners and trailer wraps to web ads and digital screens. My strength is disciplined brand stewardship and precise execution, so every deliverable looks like it belongs.
A visual communicator, not a decorator—design that works, on brand, on time.

About Me
I’m Cameo Ray Eelman, a senior graphic designer in the Orlando area. My first layouts were high school yearbook pages, drawn out by hand on paper until my junior year, when our staff made the move to computers. I’ve been adapting to new tools ever since. I’m now exploring how AI tools can support the design process, making it more efficient, while keeping the judgment and craft in human hands.
I began freelancing during my senior year of college and have designed professionally since graduating in 2003, first on staff at Vision Marketing, Liberty University Online and Global-5 Communications. For more than a decade I’ve freelanced through Cameo Ray Design, working as a senior designer within AdventHealth’s in-house creative agency.
I’m drawn to design that has a job to do: clearly communicating what it needs to say, carrying a brand or look consistently across dozens of pieces, or holding a complex project together through round after round of revisions. I don’t need every project to be a blank canvas. I’m the designer who makes sure the tenth version is as right as the first.
How I Work
creativity
Creativity is essential to being a good designer, but it isn’t only about inventing something new. When a project resembles dozens I’ve done before, a key creative skill is knowing where to hold the line for consistency and where a fresh visual solution will serve the message better.
hard work
A strong work ethic is at the core of who I am, and I bring my full focus to every project. It shows up as efficiency and as meticulous production: clean, well-built files, consistent styles, and every change tracked and applied accurately, round after round.
communication
Good design communicates well, and that starts with good conversations. I build strong working relationships with clients, executives, creative directors, fellow designers and vendors, ask clarifying questions early, and take direction without ego. Keeping everyone informed along the way means fewer surprises and a smoother path to the finished piece.
problem solving
Design is finding the right visual solution to a communication challenge. Like assembling a jigsaw puzzle, that means keeping my eye on every detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Every piece fits into something larger, whether it’s a brand, a campaign or a reader’s path through a document, and I make sure each detail serves the whole.
